A dog found abandoned in the snow moved the veterinarians who helped her to tears. When they saw the pitiful condition she was in, their hearts immediately broke into a thousand pieces.
If you think there can’t be people capable of committing unforgivable acts towards innocent dogs or cats, think again. On the streets of Bucharest, Romania, authorities are after an individual responsible for several unimaginable cases.
His most recent “prey” was a German shepherd dog that, unfortunately, was roaming the streets of this city. Apparently, a neighbor of the community was feeding her, along with other stray dogs.
The dog found in the snow miraculously survived an act that is truly hard to believe
The individual, who the authorities have described as “unbalanced”, attacked the poor dog, causing her really painful injuries. Apparently, he did this as a warning to the woman who provides support to animals on the streets, in order to threaten her.
Unfortunately, it was an innocent and noble animal that suffered the consequences of the bad feelings that this subject is capable of feeling towards dogs.
The German Shepherd dog suffered severe damage to her entire body, including the loss of a hind leg and her tail. Sadly, she had to deal with a lot of pain not only in her body, but in her heart.
With great sadness, those in charge of rescuing Spirit denounce this shameful event:
As if these actions were not enough, the person responsible left the dog in the snow that covered the streets of Bucharest, so that no one could help her in the cold.
Luckily for this poor animal, he was found by the right people. He immediately received medical attention and the people who helped save his life could not believe that they were witnessing such a dramatic case.
Spirit also lost some teeth and had other serious injuries.
At first they thought the dog would not survive so much suffering, but she was strong and fought until she got out of this ordeal.
Thanks to that, she was baptized with the name Spirit and once she was stable, the dog was put up for adoption.
The rescuers reacted in tears to an act without any feelings
A family in the UK wanted to give Spirit a second chance away from the hard past she had experienced in Romania. They wanted to give her the opportunity to leave her scars behind, recover and experience the happiness of being loved unconditionally.
It is impossible to know whether an animal can overcome such a sad episode, but at least it is a relief to know that the dog is in good hands.
The sadness still remains in her eyes, but at least Spirit is accompanied by the right family.
For their part, the authorities in Bucharest have set themselves the firm objective of finding the whereabouts of the man behind this incident , who, if that were not enough, has also been responsible for other similar cases.
For the sake of the welfare of other stray dogs in Bucharest, the animal rescue institutions in this Romanian town are keen to see the case clarified as soon as possible.
It is extremely important that all cases of animal abuse are reported in order to achieve justice and prevent other animals from suffering such devastating experiences.
