The aquatic mammal gives gifts to humans in return for food.
Dolphins have an intelligence that allows them to position themselves within the hearts of human beings as the favorite among the most beloved animals. The following story explains one of the reasons that prove the truth of the above.
It turns out Mystique is a humpback dolphin, who brings gifts to humans from the bottom of the ocean in exchange for food.
This behavior was reinforced by a group of environmentalists who are interested in cleaning up waste from the seabed.
The male dolphin not only brings waste, but also gives away corals, shells and other things that the mammal finds .
This activity takes place at the Barnacles Dolphin Center in Tin Can Bay, Queensland, Australia and is part of a routine that Mystique performs with tourists and locals.
It all started with a game between conservationists and the dolphin . Then this dynamic increased to the point where tourists started to interact with this mammal.
Due to the current state of the world, tourists are not flocking to the Barnacles Dolphin Center . Still, Mystique continues to bring gifts to the surface when she feels like eating.
“Mystique is doing well, keeping everything in line, but it’s pretty clear she’s missing the public attention, she’s been quite the show-off the last few weeks,” said the staff at Barnacles Cafe & Dolphin Feeding.
” When he brings something he will receive lots of praise and attention, and then a fish to thank him for, he has a very intelligent and gentle soul, but he is also a bit mischievous,” the environmental volunteers added.
” He brings us all kinds of things like wooden boards, corals, old glass bottles, sea sponges and rocks, which vary in all kinds of shapes and sizes. He had always brought us gifts, but only since the closure has he brought several gifts every morning,” the environmentalists said.
However, the dolphin is always accompanied by 7 other dolphins, but the fishermen assure that he is the only one capable of getting close enough to deliver his gifts and receive his prize in return.
