Lemon seeds After 15 days, you will notice how the seeds have developed a hint of roots, a clear sign that the process is bearing fruit. At this point, you can go and sow each seed in pots with roots. Each seed will correspond to a vase. In the pot, fairly acidic soil – with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5 – will be placed, and indeed, our seed.

It will be necessary to create a small space in the center of the soil and place the seed with the roots down at a depth of about 1 centimeter. Once the seed has been planted in the soil and covered with it, watering will be necessary. To do this, use a spray to avoid creating dangerous water stagnation.

That’s not all. Take a plastic food bag and place the pot inside, closing it well. Even in the following days, the sun’s rays should not directly hit the pot. When a total of 30 days have passed, we will notice how our lemon plants have started to emerge from the ground.

With the peeled seed technique, we have thus created one (or more) lemon seedlings. After a few months, our seedling will have grown a few centimeters. At least until one year old, it is advisable to keep it still in a bright place but not in direct contact with the sun. Constant watering will be important.

At the age of one year, the plant can be placed directly in the ground. Finally, at the age of two, the plant can be grafted, so that it can produce lemons over time.”
