A dream turned into a fiasco. The wedding of this woman named Susan was about to take place. However, their guests did not want to pay the €1,400 required to attend the event.
While the bride-to-be had everything planned, her dreams were shattered as she did not receive enough monetary gifts from friends and family.
Wedding canceled
In fact, the couple had saved over €15,000 for their dream wedding. In total, they needed around €55,000 to make their dream come true. But it was simply too much money for most of those close to him.
Susan shared her anger on her Facebook account, calling her guests “snakes.”
“We made a lot of sacrifices and only asked about $1,500 from each guest. We spoke to people who promised us even more to make our dream come true.
My maid of honor pledged $5,000 plus her planning services. We thanked and accepted in tears,” she wrote. “My ex-partner’s family offered to contribute $3,000.
We made it clear that if you could not contribute, you would not be invited to our exclusive wedding. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime celebration,” she continued.
