Make your burnt pots or pans look like new with this super easy trick

We’ve all been there at some point: you look away from your food on the stove for a second, and you’re left with a stubborn, burnt layer at the bottom of the pot. It’s a bit embarrassing, but the most annoying part is having to clean the pot again.

Fortunately, we have a very easy trick for you today!

Accidents happen, and it’s very easy to burn something, even if you think you’re paying special attention. Unfortunately, many of us have had to throw away burnt pots because once dried, these burn marks are nearly impossible to remove. Not anymore if you use this trick!

Here’s what you need:

  • Baking soda
  • Cream of tartar
  • Hand soap
  • An old credit card or reward card

Here’s how to do it:

Add equal amounts of baking soda and cream of tartar to the pot (for example, two tablespoons of each). Also, add a few drops of hand soap and mix it all together. Then, add some hot water and mix until the mixture resembles a kind of thick paste. The burnt parts of the pot should be completely covered! Let them sit and soak for a few minutes, then use the old credit card to remove the burn marks. Rinse the pot under water, and it will be good as new!
