A son took his mother to a nursing home and visited her only from time to time

POZYTYWNE HISTORIE

Not having enough time, a son took his mother to a nursing home and visited her only occasionally. One day, he received a call because she wasn’t feeling well. So, with tears in his eyes, the son asked her what he could do for her, and the mother gave him an answer that sent shivers down his spine.

Do you ever wonder about the question: is there such a thing as karma?

Are we rewarded for good deeds or punished for bad ones?

Some people constantly question the consequences of their actions, which, I believe, eventually catch up with them later in life.

After the death of his father, a man decided to place his mother in a nursing home.

He simply didn’t have enough time to take care of her with everything going on in his life. He didn’t even visit her very often, only when he had a bit of time to spare.

One day, he received a call indicating that her health was deteriorating rapidly, and it seemed like she was living her last days.

The son quickly arrived at the nursing home and rushed into his mother’s room. He immediately asked her if there was anything he could do for her.

The mother stared at him with a piercing gaze and made a few requests.

She told him that she wanted the fans to be changed because she sometimes struggled to breathe, seeking every breath. She also wanted the refrigerator to be replaced.

At times, she wouldn’t eat anything because the refrigerator spoiled all the food that needed to be kept at a low temperature.

The son was completely caught off guard.

He didn’t think his mother knew she was dying.

With tears in his eyes, he asked her why she hadn’t told him everything earlier. Now it was too late.

The mother then looked at her son with the same piercing gaze and said, “I know I am going to die, but I think of you when your children no longer want you by their side… And they will place you here… Then, you will find better conditions… What you give is what you receive… Don’t forget that.”

These words shattered the son’s heart into a million pieces.

He knew he should have kept her with him and ensured that she spent the last years of her life close to her family, instead of being thrown into a nursing home against her will.

We should NEVER forget that it is our responsibility to ensure that our parents spend their golden years in a way that makes them happy!

Please, SHARE this touching story with your family and friends to remind them of how strong a mother’s love for her children is!
