In an interview with Gala published on January 6, 2022, Brigitte Bardot once again confided in her life. The famous actress spoke about her son and his family, with whom she has not had contact for years.
Brigitte Bardot is one of the best actresses of her generation. Her splendid physique caught the attention of more than one person. From her film debut to this day, the actress, who is now 87 years old, continues to radiate eloquence and charisma like no other. Much appreciated for her good deeds, Brigitte Bardot nevertheless has a dark side: her relationships with her family.
She did not want the son she gave birth to in 1960 and never made him a mystery. Not only does she no longer have any concrete contact with him, but she has been abandoned by her own family. This is a situation she agreed to return to during her interview. She also gave her point of view on the anti-Covid vaccine and the health pass in France. We take stock.
BAD TIME TO GIVE BIRTH
In 1960, Brigitte Bardot was in a relationship with Jacques Charrier. Their romance produced the actress’s only son, Nicolas-Jacques, on 11 January 1960. Years after this happy event, the actress admitted that she wanted to erase the past if possible. Over the years, she has continually spoken about the trauma that this birth caused her.
He explains that at the time (she was 25 years old) she was at the height of her fame and the press was chasing her. According to him, this birth came at the worst time. She was overwhelmed by work and the media was relentless with her.
She felt “bad about herself and tired of films.” She summed up her discontent in a statement:
It was definitely not the time to have a child! He was killing me every three minutes, doing nothing but stupid things, but you don’t choose; the timing was bad and everyone suffered.
In her interviews, she did not hesitate to use atypical expressions to talk about her son. For example, she compared her pregnancy to a tumor that was eating away at her. Another phrase that caused a lot of noise: “I would have preferred to give birth to a little dog.”
ABANDONED BY HER FAMILY
Nicolas-Jacques Charrier is now 61 years old. He settled in Norway and raised his family there. He has two daughters in their thirties, making Brigitte Bardot a great-grandmother. The film icon is thus the matriarch of a large family, with which he no longer has contact.
When the journalist asked her if her family gave her presents for the holidays, she was hilarious and replied in the negative. On the other hand, she gave many gifts to people in difficulty (sick, elderly or lonely), and received some from strangers. They ended up becoming Brigitte’s second family.
“THIN AND WITHOUT GRAY HAIR”
Time has no real influence on Brigitte Bardot. Despite her 87 years, she has not lost any of her splendour and does not deprive herself of a little coquetry. During her interview, the animal rights activist told us about her daily life:
“Every day I do my hair and make-up. Every day. I am always impeccable (…) It is something that comes from the past. In life, I am not the type to let myself go, even when I am sick.”
Regarding the fact that she continues to shine despite the weight of age and her many responsibilities, Gunter Sachs’s former partner confided:
“I can’t believe I have great-grandchildren… Of course, I’m 87 years old, but I swear I don’t look like I’m 87. I don’t have white hair, I’m very thin.
The secret of her youth probably lies in her love of life. She has some health problems due to her age, but she always manages to keep a smile, a good mood and her legendary frankness. A great fan of dancing, she is willing to put her health aside to get moving:
“I have double osteoarthritis of the hip, I walk with crutches, but if someone plays me a rumba (…) or something flamenco, I swear, I have that urge to move… It makes me itch!”
she declared.
WHY DOES THE ACTRESS REFUSE TO GET VACCINATED?
The last point addressed by the artist during this interview, and no less important, is that of the coronavirus. Let us remember that he has always strongly opposed compulsory vaccination and the health pass, introduced by the French government. He even went so far as to compare them to an “Ausweis”, the pass imposed during the war.
In this interview he gave the reason why he is categorically opposed to the anti-covid vaccine:
»Oh no! I am allergic to all chemicals. Even when I travelled to Africa I refused to do so because of yellow fever (…) My doctor at the time gave me a false certificate. I went and came back in very good shape! «
The least we can say is that Brigitte Bardot remains the same in all circumstances, and that’s why we all love her.
