Nicole Scherzinger performs “Reflection” from Disney’s Mulan live.

Performing a powerful version of “Reflection” from Disney’s Mulan, Nicole Scherzinger, in an exquisite blue gown, wowed the audience during the Coronation Concert of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Accompanied by legendary pianist Lang Lang, Nicole delivered a singing masterclass to an audience of 20,000 people, including hundreds of celebrities and officials from around the world. With over 2.6 million views in less than a year, her stunning performance has gone viral on YouTube and shows no signs of stopping.

The X Factor competition in 2016 saw Matt Terry as its winner. The aim of the popular talent show is to find the UK’s most promising young musicians and pit them against each other in a blind talent search for the title of #1 and the chance to realise their musical aspirations. However, even more was to come for Matt Terry, as he was granted permission to perform the Prince classic ‘Purple Rain’ with Nicole Scherzinger during his final performance.

“Purple Rain” is a delicate yet powerful song, and Matt Terry’s strong, smooth voice was the perfect choice to perform it. Although Prince was an exceptional individual and very difficult to imitate, Terry did an excellent job of covering this distinctive and timeless ballad. But when Nicole Scherzinger took the stage in a stunning gown and brought her wonderful voice to a planned and dramatic duet, the song took on a whole new meaning.
